1. Professional Players
Must hold a registered contract with their club. Contracts are lodged with the relevant league and must comply with standard terms.
2. Transfer Windows
The summer window typically runs from June to August/September, while the winter window operates in January. Exact dates vary by competition.
3. International Transfers
FIFA Transfer Matching System (TMS) compliance is required for all international transfers. Both clubs must confirm the transfer through the system.
4. Work Permits & GBE
Governing Body Endorsement (GBE) is required for non-UK players. A points-based system assesses player quality based on international appearances, club appearances, and other factors.
5. Youth Players
